The cleverly constructed launch area takes all the guesswork out of getting in and out of the kayak, and the deep, slow moving stream meanders through a gorgeous wetland ecosystem filled with wildlife. Bumble bees can be seen on almost every flowering plant - it's like a giant pollinator garden! But, there is a distinct lack of mosquitos, thanks to resident salamanders and the thriving dragonfly population. The owner of Monadnock Paddle is super friendly and helpful, and told us all about the history of the area. We can't wait to go back with the whole family in the fall to see the foliage.”
